1. Yes, I have been stereotyped many a times when I came to United States. The American culture was new to me and my English in the beginning was assumed not to be at per as the Native Americans. I have been mocked at the public places by my then boyfriend. He used to mock my dressing sense, my reading habits, and so many new things which I am not used to like accessing gadgets. I have been catcalled as the boring women as my childhood belonged to the different country and in a middle class family.
